Plain Cake

INGREDIENTS

1- Icing sugar
2-maida 3 oz
3-baking powder 1/2 tsp
4-oil 3 oz
5-egg 3
6-vanillla essence few drops

METHOD

1-First take out only white part of egg and beat it with the egg beater when it get fluffy add eggyolk and icing

sugar and beat it again then add oil and in theend add maida mix it well your batter is ready.

2-Greece the pan with little oil and dust maida on it put the whole batter and bake it for 45 minutes at 180

degree centigrade.

CHICKEN WONTONS WITH PLUM SAUCE

INGREDIENTS 1- Chicken 1 cup 2- Oil 1 Tbs 3- carrot 1/3 cup shredded 4- 2 green onion finely chopped 5- 1 Tbs finely chopped coriander 6- 1 Tbs Soya sauce 7- 1 tsp ginger (grated) 8- 3 cloves garlic (crushed) 9- 1/2 tsp sugar 10- Salt as per taste 11- 30 round or square wontons wrappers 11- Oil for deep frying PLUM SAUCE 1- 1 cup bottled plum sauce 2- 1 Tbs soya sauce METHOD OF MAKING PLUM SAUCE In a small pan combine plum sauce and soya sauce.Cook and stir on a medium heat for few minutes and the sauce is ready. FISH AND POTATO PIE

INGREDIENTS 1-600g fish fillets 2-300ml skimmed milk 3-4 spring onion ,finely chopped 4-40 g grated cheddar cheese 5-1 kg potatoes, boiled 6-salt and freshly ground pepper METHOD 1- In a pan, bring milk to a simmer and place fish in the milk.Cook fish till it begins to flake, about 6-8 minutes, discard the bones.Remove fish with a slotted spoon and keep aside. 2-Add spring onion to milk,cook for 1 minute.Mash potatoes with the cream, add milk and fish to the potatoes, season it with salt and good amount of pepper. 3-Take a dish gently spoon mixture into the dish, sprinkle the top with cheese and place under a grill to brown the top, about 10-15 minutes.
